About us

Total Home & Garden grew out of a lifetime of helping others. For more than 30 years, we’ve been the friends people call when they need a hand—whether it’s restoring a garden, painting a home, repairing a roof, or tackling the handyman jobs that make a house feel cared for again. What began as helping seniors, friends, neighbors, and our local churches, eventually became something worth making official: a trusted service dedicated to caring for homes and the people who live in them.

Our founder started working outdoors in his early twenties mowing lawns and painting homes during the summers. After university taking Sciences and Plant Biology he went on to manage large-scale environmental projects, including government contracts planting millions of trees in Prince Edward Island. Over the years he also worked on landscaping crews, helped build golf courses, and installed hundreds of pallets of sod.

Professionally, he spent more than 25 years working internationally as an IT Project Manager across Europe and Canada. Yet throughout those years, the satisfaction of working with his hands never disappeared. Between contracts he continued doing gardening, painting, roofing repairs, drywall work, and property improvements—often volunteering time to help seniors and maintaining church grounds in the Brantford area to keep them beautiful and welcoming.

Today, Total Home & Garden brings together a small team of skilled and dependable tradespeople. Our roofing team has over a decade of experience, our irrigation specialists have years in the field, and we work closely with trusted paint suppliers to ensure the best products are used for every job.

We believe good work should be done with integrity, care, and respect for the people we serve. Our goal is simple: leave every home, garden, and property better than we found it—and treat every project as if it truly matters.
