About us

Total Home & Garden grew out of a lifetime of helping others. For more than 30 years, skills were learn from my British father as we grew up on the east coast of Canada. We’ve been the people homeowners and business owners call when they need a hand—whether it’s restoring a garden, maintaining a lawn, painting interiors and exteriors, tackling handyman work, or providing roof repair and roofing services in Brantford, Cambridge, and Paris Ontario.

What began as helping seniors, friends, neighbors, and local churches eventually became a trusted home and commercial service company serving Brant County and surrounding areas. Today, we proudly offer interior and exterior painting, residential and commercial roofing, landscaping, lawn care, and garden maintenance across Southern Ontario.

Our founder’s journey started in his early twenties, mowing lawns and painting homes during the summers. After studying Sciences and Plant Biology, he went on to manage large-scale environmental projects, including government contracts planting millions of trees in Prince Edward Island, Ontario, Manitoba and B.C. Over the years, he also worked on landscaping crews, helped build golf courses, and installed hundreds of pallets of sod—always honing the skills that would later shape Total Home & Garden.

Professionally, he spent more than 25 years working internationally as an IT Project Manager across Europe, South America and Canada. Yet the satisfaction of working with his hands never disappeared. Between contracts, he continued painting homes and businesses, performing roof repairs, replacing shingles, maintaining lawns, and improving gardens—often volunteering to help seniors and maintaining church grounds in Brantford and Cambridge to keep them beautiful and welcoming.

Today, Total Home & Garden brings together a small, skilled, and dependable team of tradespeople. Our roofing contractors have over a decade of experience with roof repairs, shingle replacement, and full roof installations, while our painting team provides professional interior and exterior painting for homes and commercial properties. Our lawn and garden specialists deliver landscaping, garden maintenance, and lawn care services with precision and care. We work closely with trusted suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and lasting results for every project.
